Here are the 50 highest authority startup directories you can launch on right now, ranked by Domain Rating. Every one is vetted, still accepting submissions, and listed with its approval time, badge requirement and submit link.

The list runs from DR 63 up to DR 92. Thirty of them hand out a dofollow link, sixteen are nofollow but worth it for other reasons, and four are paid.

What makes a directory worth launching on?

Most directory lists are padded with dead links and sites that never approve anyone. These 50 all clear four bars:

• Real authority. Every entry sits at DR 63 or higher, so the link carries weight. Domain Rating is the best proxy we have for how much a backlink moves your own number.
• Still accepting submissions. We check them, and dead directories get dropped from the roadmap.
• A link you can actually earn. 30 of the 50 give a dofollow link. The rest are nofollow, which is not the same as worthless, more on that below.
• No pay to exist. Only 4 of the 50 charge, and each of those earns its fee with real traffic.

Which ones should you launch on first?

Don't start at number one and work down. Start with what you can finish today:

1. The instant listings. Crunchbase and Indie Hackers publish you the moment you submit. Hacker News posts instantly too, but landing it takes timing, so treat that one as a launch, not a submission.
2. The 11 easy dofollow ones. findly.tools, Turbo0, ToolFame, Dofollow.Tools and Good AI Tools take a few minutes each and hand out a real dofollow link.
3. The 29 medium ones. These want a proper description and 1 to 2 weeks of patience. G2, Capterra and AlternativeTo sit here, and they are the highest DR links most startups can realistically get.
