Social Preview Tester

About to share your launch? See exactly how the link renders on X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Slack before you post, and fix a missing image or clipped title while it still matters.

We read the page's Open Graph and Twitter Card tags, the same ones every social platform reads.

How this works

  • We read your share tags. We fetch the page and read its <meta property="og:*"> and twitter:* tags, the exact same ones every social platform reads when someone pastes your link.
  • We render each platform. X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Slack all lay the card out differently. What you see above is how the unfurl actually looks on each.
  • We flag what's missing. No image, a title that gets cut off, a twitter:card stuck on the small format, a relative image URL that scrapers drop. Each one is something you can fix on your own page.
  • Caching is on the platforms' side. X, Facebook, and LinkedIn cache your card for a while. After you fix a tag, use their own debuggers to force a re-scrape so the new preview shows.

Why the preview image is worth the effort

A link with a clean 1200×630 image gets noticeably more clicks than a bare text link, and your launch only gets shared for a day or two.
