Effortless Backlinks vs LaunchPanda: Which Is Worth It?
Effortless Backlinks vs LaunchPanda, compared on price, speed, directory count and guarantees, so you can pick the right auto submission tool.
Both services do the same job, they submit your product to directories by hand so you don't fill in 50 forms yourself. Effortless Backlinks is cheaper to start at €79, lets you veto directories before they submit, and takes up to 30 days. LaunchPanda Auto Launch starts at $99, gets your first links live in 48 hours, and publishes the full directory list before you pay.
I run LaunchPanda, so read the wins section for their side carefully. I have tried to keep every number below to what each site actually publishes.
What does Effortless Backlinks do?
You fill in one form with your product details. Their team hand-picks directories that fit your product from a pool of 200+ vetted sites, writes a unique description for each one, and submits every listing manually. You watch progress in a live spreadsheet during the run, then get a report with live links, or screenshot proof for listings still in review, within 30 days.
Three one-off packs, priced in euros, no subscription:
- Starter, €79 for 25 directories
- Growth, €119 for 50 directories
- Premium, €179 for 100 directories, plus priority support
That is €3.16 down to €1.79 per listing.
What does LaunchPanda Auto Launch do?
Same core job, submitted by hand. You build a Startup Profile once, then we submit it to directories picked to fit your product, and each listing appears in your dashboard as it goes up. Your first links are live within 48 hours and the whole run is done within 7 days.
Three volumes, in dollars:
- 30 directories, $99, directories at DR 10 and above
- 50 directories, $129, directories at DR 15 and above
- 100 directories, $199, directories at DR 20 and above
That is $3.30 down to $1.99 per listing. The full catalog of 318 directories is public at /roadmap, so you can read the list before you spend anything.
Effortless Backlinks vs LaunchPanda, side by side
Where Effortless Backlinks wins
Four things they genuinely do better, and I would rather write them down than pretend they don't exist.
- Cheaper first batch. €79 for 25 listings is a lower entry point than our $99 for 30. If you only want to find out whether directory links move anything for your site, that is the smaller bet.
- You can veto directories. They let you exclude any site before they submit, which is useful if you are already listed somewhere or you don't want a particular placement. We pick for you and you don't sign the list off first.
- Nothing goes on your site. Our standard tiers ask you to put the LaunchPanda badge in your footer, and dropping that costs $50 extra and only goes up to 50 directories. They don't ask for anything.
- A description written per directory. They write a unique, keyword-targeted description for each listing rather than pasting one blurb everywhere.
Where LaunchPanda wins
- Speed to the first link. Your first listings are up in 48 hours and the run finishes inside 7 days, against up to 30 days. Since DR takes weeks to move after the links exist, a month spent waiting is a month added to the front of that curve.
- You see the list before you buy. All 318 directories are public with DR and approval speed on each. Their pool is described as 200+ vetted sites, but the list isn't published, so you are buying on trust.
- A published DR floor, and dofollow. Each tier states a minimum DR for the directories used, and the links are dofollow. They publish neither, and "up to DR 98" describes the top of their pool, not a floor on your order.
- Tracking that outlives the run. A screenshot proves a listing existed the day it was taken. It does not prove the link is still there six months later. Your dashboard and our free backlink checker let you re-check any time.
- A profile you can reuse. Your Startup Profile stays yours, so your next product is a relaunch instead of a fresh start. Their deliverable is the report.
- A free way to test it. One Startup Profile, three directory strategies and a free auto-launch on a DR 54 site, no card needed.
What about refunds?
Worth being blunt, because both marketing pages read better than both policies. Effortless Backlinks refunds in full only before work starts, and after that offers a discretionary credit or a proportional refund when proof can't be provided. Our terms limit Auto Launch refunds to before submissions begin.
Neither service meaningfully refunds you once the listings are out. Treat both as a one-way purchase and pick on the list, the speed and the proof instead.
So which one should you pick?
Pick Effortless Backlinks if the €79 entry is the deciding factor, you want to approve or veto the list, you don't want a badge in your footer, and waiting a month is fine.
Pick Auto Launch if you want links live this week, want to read the directory list and its DR floor before paying, and want tracking that keeps working after the run. It starts at $99 for 30 directories, and there is a full spec by spec comparison if you want every row.
The thing neither service fixes
Directories are a backlink play, not a traffic play. When I went through every directory we launched on, only 4% of signups said they found us that way. That is normal, and it is still worth doing, because the link works whether or not anyone clicks it.
So judge either service on referring domains and DR movement. Buy 100 links from anyone, measure it in signups, and you will conclude you wasted your money, when what you really did was measure the wrong thing.
